anime viewing party

hey anime fans and Elsie, I'm having a soirée at my house in which we watch anime! this little get-together shall partake on NOV. 21 (since the dance is on the 7th and most of you would rather have social lives than watch awesome anime 
). Also, this is going to be a potluck! please e-mail me telling me what food you are going to bring! ALSO, I am going to let you guys choose the anime! I have around five anime's and their descriptions, please tell me which two animes you wish to watch. Also, I know some of you have a cornucopia of animes at home, Amber, and would like to add an anime, so I will postpone the actual voting 'till next saturday (the weekend of Halloween). please e-mail me the titles of the animes you want to bring by this coming friday (the 30th i believe) so we can vote on them! Also, if you guys have an idea for games or trivia, this is welcomed as well!
This time I would like people to RSPV via e-mail, it's ten times easier for me, also, tell me what food you shall bring in your e-mail. I hope you guys can come.
Inuyasha (episodes 1-54)
Inuyasha tells the story of a character named "Inuyasha," who is shot with a magic arrow and sealed to a tree, in feudal Japan. A 15-year-old girl from present-day Japan is transported in time back to the medieval Japan and is caught up in a whimsical tale of fantasy and adventure, where she has to team up with the enemy ("Inuyasha") of her ancestor to collect and protect the fragments of a magic jewel.
Ouran High School Host Club (episodes 1-26)
Looking for a quiet place to study, Haruhi stumbles upon the Third Music Room, a place where the Ouran Academy Host Club, a group of six extremely attractive male students, gathers to entertain female "clients". During their first meeting, Haruhi accidentally knocks over and breaks an antique vase valued at ¥8,000,000 and is told to repay the cost in service to the club. The hosts all agree that Haruhi would be a good host, thus making Haruhi join the host club. Thus Haruhi starts the job of working with these highly eccentric hosts to repay the debt.
Black Cat (episodes 1-8)
Chronos, an organization bent on world peace, rules one third of the world's economy. To maintain the balance of the world, Chronos is therefore essential, and there is a need for people to protect Chronos. Thirteen special elite assassins are the Chrono Numbers, assassins who work for Chronos. When the thirteenth Chrono Number Train Heartnet, also known as the infamous Black Cat, meets a Sweeper (A licensed bounty hunter) named Saya Minatsuki, Train's morals and values are changed from those of Chronos's to those of his own. This leads to tension between him and the leaders of Chronos, and eventually culminates in Train's departure from the organization. Six months later, Train is an easygoing Sweeper, traveling with his partners Sven Vollfied and Eve, when Trains fromer partner, Creed, appears before him…(this is NOT Rurouni Kenshin! >.<)

Soul Eater is an anime that centers around meisters and their weapons and their mission to collect 99 evil souls and 1 witch soul. Upon doing that the meister's weapons will become a Deathscythe, which is the highest title for a weapon. Maka, Soul Eater, Black Star, Tsubaki, Death the Kid, and Patty and Liz Thompson are the characters Soul Eater revolves around. Besides taking the time to gather souls these students of Shibusen defend Death City from some of the most powerful of creatures while still attending school and trying to become stronger.

you know you're at an anime con if...

Heya!
So this is my first journal and I decided that It would be about Animazment, the convention I just went to! It was fun and amazing, I maxed out on my memroy card with all the pictures and videos I took (around 378 if you're wondering). The truth is, as amazing as anime cons are, to non-con-goers it can be pretty exhausting. This is pretty much a list that will help the common folk determine wheather or not a con is going on in their beloved city...
you know you're at an anime con if...
your local McDonalds has been taken over by a vast group of costume clad children with fake, but real looking, weapons. (this is also known as cosplayers)
You see two people arguing on wheather the person who just walked by is a boy or a girl.
there are STRAIGHT men in school girl outfits.
You are glomped from behind...yes it does sound wrong...
Some one walks up to you and flashes their black notebook in your face (deathnote) saying "It's been fifty second...why aren't you dead?"
There is a kid who is dressed up like a giant robot
some one shouts "OH MY GOD!!! ___ I LOVE YOU! KISS MY KILALA!!!!"
some one adresses you by a name that you don't know and asks to take your picture
some one walks up to you and asks you to "pet the evee"
you play the "let's see how many people can fit on the elevator game!" every time you need to get to your hotel room
there is a corner that is blasting Caramelldansen, where many people have migrated and proceded in doing the Caramelldansen dance
There is an elevator rave two hours before the actual rave, and some one asks "have we exceeded the 6,100 weight limit?"
there is a poll going on asking wheather or not Axel is gay...most people have check the box labled "HE IZ CUPCAKE! <33!!"
You see many "the cake is a lie" shirts
It looks like a star treck convention, but the con goers are tooooooooooooooooo hyper to be from star treck
